Start Your Application: After finding your ideal job, click the Apply button.
Complete Your Application: Finish your job application by uploading your resume or CV, applying with your LinkedIn profile, or manually entering your information. Ensure you include your work experience, any necessary attachments, answers to application questions, and voluntary self-identification of disability.
Submit With Confidence: Click the Submit button when you're ready.
Confirmation: You will receive an email confirming that your application has been received.
Initial Screening: Human Resources will review your submission to determine if you meet the minimum required qualifications.
Further Evaluation: Candidates who meet the minimum requirements will be further assessed based on their qualifications and work experience.
Stay Accessible: Candidates selected for interviews will be contacted via phone, email, or text. We utilize a scheduling tool that will allow you to choose a time convenient for your schedule. Ensure that your contact information is current and that you have voicemail set up.
Preliminary Interviews: A Human Resources recruiter typically conducts these over the phone.
Departmental Interviews: These can take place via Zoom, Teams, or in person with the hiring department.
Reference Checks: Final candidates will undergo reference checks, which must return satisfactory results to proceed to the next step.
Formal Offer: Once the final candidate is chosen, a Human Resources representative will reach out to extend a formal offer.
Pre-employment Screening: Upon acceptance, the candidate must complete a substance abuse test, criminal background check, and pre-employment health screening.
Important Next Steps: After accepting the offer, you will receive an email outlining the required onboarding paperwork.
Account Creation: This email will include detailed instructions for logging into an account to complete your paperwork. Please note that the login process can be complex, so it’s crucial to carefully follow the login instructions provided.
Stay Informed: Completing this paperwork promptly and accurately is essential for a smooth transition into your new role.
Orientation: All new employees at MU Health Care are required to attend a New Staff Orientation on their first day of employment. Orientation is typically scheduled every one to two weeks, depending on the position, and usually occurs on a Monday.
